- VireoFont
- January, 1991
-
- VireoFont is a type 1, PostScript® font for the Macintosh®. VireoFont is
- shareware. The payment requested is $10. Please send it to:
-
- Christopher Bird
- 116 Dean Street Apt. B
- Stamford, CT 06902.
-
- VireoFont is designed to be used with a PostScript® laser printer or Adobe
- Type Manager and an ImageWriter™ printer. The bitmap characters are provided
- in 14, 18, 24 and 48 point sizes. Anything below 14 point tends to get
- difficult to read. Alternate caps are available by pressing the option and
- the shift keys along with the character you want. Small numerals are produced
- by pressing the option key with the number you want.
-
- Install VireoFont like any other font: drag the Outline font file (the little
- laser printer icon entitled VireoFon) into your system folder, and install
- the bitmap file (the little suitcase file entiled VireoFont.bmap) using the
- Font /DA mover program from Apple™, or a utility such as Suitcase II™.

- Registration and Licensing Agreement
-
- VireoFont is shareware. Due to the fact that it's a somewhat funky typeface
- which may have limited use, the payment requested is $10. Please send it to
- Christopher Bird, 116 Dean Street Apt. B, Stamford, CT 06902. If you would
- like a copy of the original Fontographer™ files for the font, please send an
- extra $5. If you have questions or problems, feel free to leave a message to
- me on the ModemNews Online BBS: (516) 679-0674, or you can call me personally
- at (203) 353-1129.
-
- By using VireoFont for more than one week, you accept the terms and
- conditions of this agreement. You may install and use VireoFont outline and
- bitmap fonts (“the software”) with a single printer or other output device
- which contains a PostScript® language interpreter or with a CPU which
- utilizes Adobe Type Manager™. You may make backup copies of the software as
- necessary and you may give away copies of the software provided a copy of
- this document accompanies them.
